Fishing Charters and Guide Services

The Fishing Charters and Guide Services run from April to November on Lake
Ontario and in the 1000 Islands of the St. Lawrence River in the Province of
Ontario, Canada. Charters run out of Brockville and Port Hope with Fishing
Guide James Dexter of Chasen Fish Charters.

In late June, July and August the Fishing Charters and Guide Services are out of Port Hope for Kings, Chinook Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Coho Salmon and Lake Trout. You will be able to take in The Great Ontario Salmon Derby featuring large
prizes for the largest Salmon.

In the other months the Fishing Charters and Guide Services are in the 1000
Islands of the St. Lawrence River out of Brockville for Pike, Smallmouth
Bass, Walleye and Musky.

In the months of October and November I charter mostly for Smallmouth Bass and Muskies. In the St. Lawrence River a 127 cm (50 inch) long Muskie is not uncommon and there are 152 cm (60 inch) long Musky there. From all reports available the next world record Muskellunge will properly come from the 1000 Islands of the St. Lawrence River.
